Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home plans a public celebration of its adult day health program starting at 10 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 21).
The event will feature a plethora of resources for seniors, Yukio Okutsu announced, including facility tours, adult day health program information, flu shots from Longs CVS Pharmacy and keynote speaker Dr. Kimo Alameda of the Hilo Office of Aging.
The Veterans Center and VFW will have booths.
Yukio Okutsu is located at 1180 Waianuenue Ave. Its services also include skilled nursing, senior living, pharmacy, rehabilitation therapy and hospice.
